(2006- ) Nottingham University, School of Education. Associate Professor.   Teaching across a range of modules pertaining to mental health (eg teachers), Counselling and Psychotherapy MA, branch programme leader for counselling children and young people.  Phd research supervision (currently 12 students), research (50%) – externally funded AHRC grant for creative mutual recovery (See current research grants).        

(2015- ) Consultant Psychotherapist – Prison Therapeutic Community.  HMP Dovegate.
